7 月 27 日下午，大量 Giffgaff 用户集中收到"终止服务"邮件，余额变 Not available、号码随时断服。
邮件内容基本一致：

We need to make you aware that, following a review of your account usage, we have made the decision to disconnect your service (mobile number ending 3699). In line with our terms and conditions, our services are intended primarily for use within the UK, with roaming provided for short-term travel only. As your usage pattern suggests extended or permanent use outside the UK, your account no longer meets the eligibility requirements for the service. As a result, your service will be disconnected shortly, and any associated access will cease.

Please note this is our final position on this matter.

We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your previous custom.

违反了Tos: giffgaff 服务条款 2.9，由于您的使用模式表明您在英国境外长期或永久使用，您的账户已不再符合服务资格要求。而且封号后基本上余额无法退回。

申请PAC转移保号

如果你的卡还能发短信，现在、立刻、马上去申请 PAC 码，余额一旦变成 Not available，往往就申请不了 PAC 了——号码会真的丢。PAC码30天有效期，过期自动失效，可重新申请。

拿到PAC码后携号转网。

退款申请

  1. 官网工单申请退款：https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask

  2. 依次点击：Plans, Credit and Payment Details ——> Credit balance or plan allowance ——> Credit balance ——> No, it's to do with plans ——> NO
    然后在Other information处填写退款信息:

    Hello,

I have permanently moved abroad and no longer live in the UK.

I would like to request a refund of my remaining giffgaff credit balance.

My remaining credit: [你的余额]

Please refund the balance to my original payment method.

    点击提交后，会收到一封邮件，意思是24小时处理。

试着找回

  1. 还能登录就试申请 PAC（短信不行就网页端）
  2. 激活未满 14 天的，立刻走退款工单
  3. 充值券是淘宝/飞猪买的，直接找平台退款
  4. 号码若已无法挽回，尽快在各平台把绑定的手机号换掉

临时保号小技巧

  1. 如果还能登录账号，订阅一个6欧的计划（支付方式点更多，选择用余额来支付），能正常收发信息
  2. 正常后马上申请PAC，计划有效期1个月，下一个月不确定
  3. 携号转网

  1. 你要确认自己没有收到giffgaff的封号邮件
  2. 马上注册WhatsAPP，很多验证码能直接发到WhatsAPP上
  3. 立刻把你的giffgaff卡从基站断开，开飞行模式，拔卡
  4. 把WIFI CALLING拉起来
  5. 拉起来WIFI CALLING之后立刻打电话，打给43430（wificalling测试电话，不扣费）
  6. 继续等待风波过去或携号转网
